Robert back in RBR's F1 car today at Barcelona

NOVEMBER 15 2007 - Robert Doornbos enjoyed a positive F1 test for Red Bull Racing today in Barcelona. Though almost around two hours were being lost to red flags caused by various teams and drivers, it was difficult for him to squeeze in a full workload. Nevertheless, Robert got through the majority of his programme which focussed on the 2008 common ECU and getting the Renault engine and Red Bull Racing chassis systems working in harmony with it. He drove 61 laps in total.

ROBERT DOORNBOS: "It felt good to be back in the car again, after my only test in Bahrein in the beginning of the season. It was my task today to test our new common ECU system and to make a lot of mileage. Though we couldn't get 100% tracktime because of the red flags, I think we can still be satisfied with the work done."
