P6 for Robert in Monaco!
After a heavy fight with former F3-teammate Jeffrey van Hooijdonk, Robert today finished 6th in the Monaco F3000 GP. A good start and a late pitstop even saw Robert taking the lead halfway the race. After his stop, Robert had quite a 'big moment' as he almost lost the control of the car on cold tyres at the exit of the tunnel. Luckily Robert could keep his car out of the wall, in order to finish sixth. Robert: "I'm reasonably happy with my race. Except for my mistake during the pitstop, I was always on top of things. Even when Jeffrey (van Hooijdonk) was behind me. Now I finally have time to take a deep breath!"
