Testreport Barcelona - Friday June 02
BARCELONA – Robert Doornbos succesfully completed his three day test with Red Bull Racing today. DC and Robert drove over 1000 km today at the North-Spanish Grand Prix track, in which Robert mainly concentrated on the softwarechecks again. Next to this, the 24-year old Dutchman had his hands full with an extensive engine testing programme and tested a new front wing. At the end of the afternoon, Robert and the team also tried out some weight transfers.
ROBERT DOORNBOS: “Again we did a good job today by lapping the circuit 102 times. In these three days I’ve ran six GP distances, so we got a lot of valuable information out of this test. I feel we are getting more competive every time we go out so that’s good too. This afternoon I finished my job just somewhat before six o’clock, because we ran the maximum amount of kilometers (1500) the engine can handle. Up to Silverstone now!”
