Robert finished 4th at the Norisring

Norisring, Juni 22 2003. Under very hot conditions Robert Doornbos achieved a 4th place in Sunday´s race on the circuit of the Norisring in Germany. Starting from a 3th position, Robert had a quick start and had a strong battle with Prema Powerteam driver Kubica at the first rounds. In lap 4, Robert fell down to the 8th position, because Winkelhock crashed into him at the hairpin. On from that moment Robert pushed very hard and overtook some drivers and climbed up to a 5th position. After Robert had also overtaken Markus Winkelhock in lap 20, he continued his position and finished on a 4th place, which is good for five championshipspoint in the F3 EuroSeries. The first reaction of Robert after 35 rounds: " Despite I had chances to finish on podium, I am happy with my 5 championshipspoints!"
