General Terms and Conditions for the Offical Robert Doornbos Fanclub
The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub is run by Robert Doornbos B.V. After registering via the registration form you will receive a conformation and bank details in order for you to make your payment.
Definitions
In these General Terms and Conditions (GTAC) the following definitions shall hold:
GTAC: the General Terms and Conditions of Robert Doornbos B.V.
Fanclub member: the person the agreement is made with
Agreement: the agreement pertaining to the services of the Robert Doornbos Fanclub
Services: the Robert Doornbos Fanclub packages describes under 3.1 and 3.2 and other services offered on http://www.robertdoornbos.com
For fanclub members of the Robert Doornbos B.V. (hereafter Robert Doornbos Fanclub) the applicable and published rules and conditions apply for any use of services provided by Robert Doornbos Fanclub. By making use of these services the member accepts the GTAC. Robert Doornbos Fanclub reserves the right to change its GTAC and inform its members via email of the changes until one week before they come into use. A change of legislation shall have direct impact on the GTAC from the moment the new legislation comes into force. Robert Doornbos Fanclub will not inform its members of these changes in legislature.
Article 1 – General conditions
1.1 The official fanclub is named Robert Doornbos B.V. with the amendment: Official Robert Doornbos Fanclub.
1.2 Robert Doornbos Fanclub is residentiary in Numansdorp, NL.
Article 2 – Purpose
2.1 The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub has the purpose of: informing its members about the career of Robert Doornbos, the provision of exclusive benefits to its members and the pooling of fans of Robert Doornbos at fanclub events in the broadest sense of the word.
2.2 The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub aims to fulfill this purpose by: publication of a monthly, electronic newsletter, the official website http://www.robertdoornbos.com and organizing various fanclub activities.
Article 3 – Description of services
Every new member of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub receives the following items with two options to choose from:
3.1 Robert Doornbos Fanclub PLUS package for a membership fee of €45.00 (incl. VAT) consisting of:
- a Robert Doornbos drivers cap
- a personal welcome letter from Robert Doornbos
- a Robert Doornbos autograph card
- a Robert Doornbos notepad
- a Robert Doornbos sticker set
- a Robert Doornbos badge
- your unique numbered membership card
- the monthly ‘Fanmail’ newletter
- 15% discount on all Robert Doornbos merchandising
- free entry at the annual Fanclubday
- the possibility to participate in Robert Doornbos specials (factory visit; F1-test visit)
- access to the Fanzone where one can ask personal questions to Robert Doornbos (Q&A)
3.2 Robert Doornbos Fanclub CLASSIC package for a membership fee of €30.00 (incl. VAT) consisting of:
- a personal welcome letter from Robert Doornbos
- a Robert Doornbos autograph card
- a Robert Doornbos notepad
- a Robert Doornbos sticker set
- a Robert Doornbos badge
- the monthly ‘Fanmail’ newletter
- a 15% discount on all Robert Doornbos merchandising
- free entry at the annual Fanclubday
- the possibility to participate in Robert Doornbos specials (factory visit; F1-test visit)
- access to the Fanzone where one can ask personal questions to Robert Doornbos (Q&A)
Article 4 – Membership
4.1 The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub consists of both, natural and legal persons.
4.2 Membership begins once the membership fee for one of the two membership packages has been received by Robert Doornbos B.V.
4.3 After reception of the membership fee, the fanclub package will be delivered within ten (10) working days, given that the products are available for distribution.
4.4 The board of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub maintains a members register.
4.5 Membership is not transferable and not inheritable.
4.6 Membership is for a period of one (1) year and automatically prolonged by one (1) year unless cancelled as stated in article 7.2. The member accepts the automatic bank collection of the membership fee for the following years as well. Robert Doornbos B.V. will collect the fee for membership based on the package chosen in the previous year.
Article 5 – Trademarks and intellectual property
5.1 The intellectual property rights of all elements of the website, including but not limited to copyrights, database rights, trademarks and patents, know how, confidential information and personal data, lie with Robert Doornbos B.V. unless stated differently.
5.2 All trademarks on the website are owned by or licensed to the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub. Every non-authorized use of any trademarks is forbidden. Trademarks that lie with the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub may not be used without prior approval in writing by the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub. That includes:
- Hyperlinks to the website
- in other products of publications than the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub
- in relation with trademarks of a member and
- in a way that is unfavorable to the image etc of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub
5.3 All merchandise personally received from the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub is not transferable to third parties. Violation of this rule may lead to termination of membership by the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub (article 7.3).
Article 6 – Nondisclosure agreement Fanzone
6.1 It is absolutely forbidden to
-copy
-distribute
-publish (including other websites)
- change and
-forward/send out
any content of the Fanzone and the Robert Doornbos newsletter without approval from the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub in writing.
Article 7 – Termination of membership
7.1 Membership ends with the death of the member. In case of a legal person with the end of its existence and the approval of the board of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub.
7.2 Termination of membership is only possible at the end of the membership period. There is no possibility of termination of membership throughout the membership period with a reimbursement of membership fees. Termination must be in writing and available to the board of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub at least thiry (30) days before the regular end of membership. The board must confirm the termination in writing within eight (8) days. In case the termination has not been made on time, membership continues until the end of the following membership period unless the board of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub decides differently or the member cannot possibly be asked to continue his membership.
7.3 The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub reserves the right to terminate the membership of a member from the moment onwards that the board of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub decides that the member’s actions have violated legislature or the GTAC of the official Robert Doornbos Fanclub. The official Robert Doornbos Fanclub also reserves the right to terminate membership in case a member acts unacceptable and inappropriate.
